Ooooh, that looks like a lovely way to spend time!!
Nana Visitor looks so graceful and majestic! I really appreciate how you (obviously) took notes about what they said during the(ir) panels, and her yearning for hungry women on screen definitely hits home, wow. Her character was probably my favourite, along with Jadzia Dax and the doctor (along with his character development, holy shit!). ♥
Nana Visitor was so beautiful and radiant that it was too hard not to fangirl... I wanted to act polite but funny when I was talking to her, but instead I kind of switched to the "swoon-mode" and only said that I found her amazing :'D (that was awkward, haha...)
Oh Gosh, she and Jadzia were my role models! >D with Kira - we had someone who was not afraid of having an opinion and would defy it to her death! So much strength and not putting up with people's bullshit >D and then Jadzia, a scientist, bisexual, gender-fluid, clever, and funny, and still curious about the world. Gosh, I loved them both ♥
I also enjoyed Julian's arc and how he had grown through the series! :D but for me, it is impossible to think about him alone, he belongs together with Garak >3 I so loved their chemistry and how they would tease each other during their 'lunches' ;D So much potential! I'll forever regret that the show maker did not give us more of them...
And no big deal about the notes - I actually planned to go to the convention with my partner (he's a trekkie too ;) and we share both a passion for Garashir and for the two amazing ladies~ as you can see - he has excellent taste), but since his work prevented him from attending, I wanted to make him regret this decision by describing every single detail he missed XD
Haha, oh God. Once, when I walked past my maybe favourite music band after their show on my way home they were so fucking polite and yelled, "Thanks for coming, man!" after me, because I was so wibbly-giggly and had just lumbered past them. Their sounds build castles in my heart and overfloods my brains to scatter them among the stars; they're that good. And I could just babble, "Thank YOU, guys," and uke-dash away. Real classic. :'D
But anyway, I'm totally with you re: Jadzia Dax, and the Garak/Bashir flirty banter relationship. I also found Ezri Dax/Bashir intriguing, to be honest, because they both had developed and endured quite much towards the end of the series. Somehow it fit?
